jo(e) said... May 22, 2007 at 11:35 AM: I recognize this! It's a food eaten on Planet Zurkel, a staple of the Zurkelleon diet, actually. It's high in protein and magnesium, and made from wild riceson, a crop grown in the shadow of the blue Zurkel Moon.

It looks a bit dried out, but I am sure that's just it because it traveled such a long way before appearing in your local health food store.

I've heard it's quite tasty dipped in hot sauce.
