Oh, the breathmints! I'm a bit paranoid about that. I always try to pop an altoid before classes or office hours. Students, ah, not so much.

And for the breathmints. Sometimes I just tell students that *I* need one, then I offer one to them . . . they probably don't get the hint, but they take the mint. :-)
